Return Policy

The Map Shop is a family-run company and our first priority is to make sure you are completely happy with your order. If you’re not satisfied with the quality of your product, please contact us and we’ll do everything in our power to make you happy.

Stock Items

We offer free returns within 30 days for any in-stock products, including folding maps, books, map pins, and paper or laminated maps. To initiate a return, contact us within 30 days of receiving your product to obtain a return authorization number. Once approved, please repackage the item securely, write the return authorization number on the box, and ship it back to us. We will process your return within three business days of receiving the product.

Please note that we do not refund the original shipping charges, and you are responsible for return shipping costs unless we made an error with your order. If you are unsure whether your order qualifies for a return, please CONTACT US.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Custom-finished maps (including maps with rails, mounted, or framed finishes)
  • Personalized or custom-made maps
  • Clearance items

Since these products are made to order and not kept in stock, we cannot accept returns. If you have any questions about your order’s eligibility for return, please CONTACT US.

Damaged Product

If your order arrives damaged, please CONTACT US within three days of delivery. We need to act quickly to file a claim with the shipping carrier. To process your claim, we will require photos of:

  • The shipping label
  • The exterior packaging
  • The damaged product

Once we receive the necessary documentation, we will send you a replacement product at no additional cost.
