We want to inspire adventure, connect customers to past memories, and offer a better understanding of our world. We developed this World Voyager Map in-house so we’d have complete control over the cartography and design of the map. The result is a map that is as much fine art as it is a geographic reference. Next, check out our interesting Gall Orthographic Word Map. The Scottish cartographer James Gall published a scientific paper that included an image of his Gall Orthographic Projection in 1885. This idea was revolutionary at the time because it’s an equal area projection that shows countries in the proper size and proportion to each other.
