Rails: More DetailsMap rails are a great way to hang any map, including classroom maps. They are much less expensive than a spring roller mount, but will keep the map hanging straight and wrinkle-free. These rails only require two screws in the wall that line up with the eyehooks on the top rail. If you need the wall space, simply unlook the map and roll it up for storage. Put a rubber band around the map and it will be ready to come back out at a moments notice.
These rails come in three sizes based on the width of your map. We do not sell them as a kit (or separately) because we cut them, stain them, glue them and screw them on to your map before we ship it.
• When ordering rails as an option for your map, you only need to order a quantity of one. That means one set of rails for the top and bottom of your map. Also, rails will not work on maps that are "paper only". You have to order the standard version with lamination. The rail option also includes 2 eye-hooks that go into predrilled holes in the top rail. Just put 2 screws or L-hooks into your wall and your map is ready to hang.
