Rome in 1493
This is one of the earliest works of urban topography. Printed in a book from 1493 called Liber Cronicarum (otherwise known as the Nuremberg Chronicle), this book included fascinating woodcuts illustrating cities of the known world. Coming out of the dark ages that suppressed Rome's beauty, this illustration shows that it is on it way back to glory. Great addition to any collection! Printed on museum quality paper, this map is also suitable for framing. Click here to read details on the finishing options available for our wall maps.
